Step Forward's letter to the community on Israel and Hamas conflict

Step Forward stands unequivocally in condemnation of the hate and aggression that has afflicted the Middle East. We are deeply troubled by the ongoing turmoil and violence that has affected the citizens of Israel, Palestine, and the surrounding region. While there is no way to explain or justify the unfathomable suffering or shadow of terrorism that looms, words may never be enough. But we know silence is not an option. Step Forward is committed to the values of peace, respect, and unity both locally and globally. We wholeheartedly support the call for the protection of innocent lives and the pursuit of a just and lasting resolution to the conflicts that have plagued the region for far too long. During these trying times, we stand by our clients and staff, offering our support, understanding, and a safe space to process the complex emotions that such a crisis can evoke. Our thoughts are with all those impacted by the violence and our hearts go out to the families and friends of the victims, and those who are still missing, as well as the innocent citizens of the Middle East. In the face of adversity, we remain steadfast in our dedication to a world where compassion, empathy and cooperation prevail. Step Forward stands in unity against the hate and aggression tearing apart families.
