Madeline Corchado
Vice President of Human Resources
Madeline Corchado leads Human Resources at Step Forward, focusing on strategic talent management and efficiency. Before Step Forward, she was the Chief of Human Resources and Inclusion at Cleveland Public Library, with prior roles in Cleveland’s HR departments. Madeline is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that empowers all employees to thrive. She implements innovative recruitment and retention strategies to attract top talent and enhance employee engagement. Her commitment to professional development ensures that staff have access to training and resources that promote growth and collaboration. Madeline believes that investing in people is essential for the overall success of the organization and the communities it serves.

Madeline has served on many civic and community organizations; amongst are: Dress for Success, Hope in Transition, Wings of Hope, LEAP, Youth Opportunities Unlimited, Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries, Ohio Library Council, Cleveland Mediation Center, Esperanza, Spanish American Committee, Club Alma Yaucana, Comunidad de Fé, and Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center where she is currently the Board President.
Madeline was named a 2023 Excellence in HR honoree by Crain's Cleveland Business. She was inducted into the Kaleidoscope 40 under 40 in October 2014. She has received numerous community recognitions must recent from Neighborhood Progress, Community Financial Centers for extraordinary partnership. Madeline holds two HR Certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources, one from the HR Certification Institute and the other from Society for Human Resource Management. She also holds two Vital Smarts Certifications—Crucial Conversations and Influencer. Madeline completed Lead Diversity Program and SIDE, Summer Institute for Diversity Education. In addition, Madeline has received Fundamentals of Mediation in accordance with Supreme Court of Ohio’s Rule 16. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Processing Administration from David N. Myers University.
