Angela Graves
Vice President of Communications and Outreach
Angela Graves is the Vice President of Communications and Outreach at Step Forward.
In this role, Angela focuses on public relations, media relations, promoting the organization’s programs and services, managing social media, overseeing website design and maintenance, and ensuring consistent agency branding. Her efforts help enhance Step Forward’s presence and connect the community with the valuable resources and support the organization provides.
Before joining Step Forward, Angela was a television journalist. She worked as a television news anchor and an investigative consumer reporter, earning five Emmy Awards for her reporting. During her 12-year career, Angela was also honored with a New Mexico Broadcasters Association award and several recognitions from the Society of Professional Journalists in Indiana. Her journalism career was driven by a passion for uncovering important stories and presenting them with accuracy and integrity.

Angela holds a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism from the Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication from the same institution.

Angela is also actively involved in her community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Julia de Burgos Cultural Center and is a member of the marketing committee for Engage! Cleveland, which works to attract and retain young professionals in the city. Additionally, Angela volunteers as a parent soccer coach for Stow Soccer, sharing her love for the game and supporting young athletes.
